Iowa Group Testing

Please note: Registration is closed.

Group Testing for The Iowa TestsĀ® are offered each spring at Sovereign Grace Church. Children must come all three days.

Why Test?
Under North Carolina law, each home school registered with the Department of Non-Public Education (DNPE) must have a nationally standardized achievement test administered annually to each student at least age seven and not yet age 16.

Where You Can Have Your Child Tested
Triangle Education Assessments (www.HomeSchoolerTests.com) will sponsor a group administration of The Iowa Tests (also called The Iowa Test of Basic SkillsĀ® for Grades K-8, and Iowa Tests of Educational DevelopmentĀ® for Grades 9-12) at Sovereign Grace Church. If you wish to participate, please register your children using the registration form below and pay the testing fee.

Proctors and Assistants
We need parental help. If you could help by proctoring (administering the test), assistant proctoring, child care, or hall monitoring, please indicate that on the registration form below. Proctors must have at least a B.A. degree. It is very easy to administer the test–books are color-coded that tell you what to say.

Test Order Requirement

The publisher of the Iowa Tests requires a signature verifying your status as a home school. It is included on the registration form below.

Registration and Cost for Group Testing
The cost of each Iowa test is $39.87. Register for Iowa Group Testing by completing the online form.

You must pay the church office directly. Make your check payable to Sovereign Grace Church and bring it by the church office, mail to Sovereign Grace Church or place in the offering plate on Sunday. Please be sure to indicate on your check that your payment is for the Iowa Test, and how many tests you are paying for. Don’t forget to print a copy of your order form for your records.
